The Syneron Candela Elōs Plus is an aesthetic laser system that specializes in hair removal. It produces effective results for all skin types and is safe for patients with fine hair. This machine utilizes a unique combination of IPL (intense pulsed light) and RF (radio frequency) that uses gentle pulses of two targeted energies to penetrate deeper below the skin dermis which more effectively targets the hair follicle. A pulse of elōs (RF + IPL) is emitted for a fraction of a second. The IPL energy is converted to thermal energy, heating up the hair shaft and the hair follicle. The RF energy is attracted to the preheated follicle thus heating it further and permanently destroying it and preventing hair regrowth.
