The Lumenis LightSheer Desire is an aesthetic laser system that specializes in hair removal. It is an 2-in-1 machine that is powered by two advanced technologies: Vacuum Assisted High-Speed Integrated Technology and ChillTip Technology.
High Speed Vacuum Assisted Technology
Gentle suction draws skin into the handpiece, so the skin is stretched thinner and the hair follicle is brought closer to the laser source. Competing melanocytes are spread further apart, as the laser energy is applied to the target. The follicle is damaged and the skin is released.
High Speed Vacuum Assisted Technology – Advantages
Efficacy: Reduction in competing chromophores enables delivery of laser energy more efficiently.
